Sunshine and cloudy weather to prevail today, says NiMET

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, April 27, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny to partly cloudy conditions are expected over Kano, Sokoto, and Katsina, while afternoon/evening isolated weather activities are likely. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-27oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly Cloudy condition is anticipated within the early morning hours, except over Mambila-plateau, and Makurdi that have chances of thunderstorm also there are high prospect of localised thunderstorms over the high grounds in the afternoon/evening hour. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23 -26oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over this region in the morning. While there are prospect for scattered thunderstorms over the coastal cities like Calabar, Eket, Port-Harcourt, Enugu and Yenegoa in the morning and into the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-26oC.
