NiMET forecasts sunny conditions today, mixed with cloudiness and thundery showers

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Friday, April 22, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny conditions are anticipated over the northern cities. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 24-29oC.

CENTRAL STATES: The entire region will likely be under partly cloudy conditions with stability around Makurdi-Lafia axis. The high ground areas may experience some buildup of weather in the evening hours with chances of thundery activities. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 21-27oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudiness is expected over most parts in the morning hours. Pockets of isolated thundery showers may affect the Southwest and coastal areas in the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-25oC.
