NiMET forecasts cloudy Sunday with chances of rains

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Sunday, April 10, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy condition is expected over the entire area in the morning with prospects of localised thundery activities and rain later in the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 24-28oC.                                                                    CENTRAL STATES: Much cloudiness is anticipated within the early morning hours with slim chances of rains over few places within the region. There are prospects of thunderstorms over Kaduna, Bauchi, Ibi, Yola, Jalingo and Makurdi in the evening period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 20-26oC.                                                 

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is anticipated with chances of localised rain showers over Akure, Shaki, Ado-Ekiti, Iseyin and Oshogbo axis. Scattered thunderstorm is expected over the coastal and inland cities later in the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-26oC.
