Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has described as disgusting, the action of Minister of Interior, Gen. Abdulrahaman Dambazau (rtd.), who made an operative of the Department of State Service (DSS), to shine his shoes, at a recent event organised by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Academy in Abuja.

Obasanjo, who angrily reacted on the development yesterday in series of tweets, observed: “It is really dehumanizing for a minister to have a security officer clean his shoe in public. This is not the change Nigerians voted for.”

According to the former president, who is also a retired Army General and one-time Head of State, “It is an eyesore to see how a security officer was turned to a shoe shiner by Gen, Dambazau. There is no justification for such disgusting act.”
