BREAKING NEWS: Popular RayPower/AIT broadcaster Felix Okugbe is dead

Tragedy has once more hit Nigerian sports and journalism with the death of ebulient journalist and sports administrator, Dr. Felix Okugbe.

Okupe, who was President of the Nigerian Archery Federation (NAFED), was a former Head of Sports at DAAR Communications Plc but was better known as a veteran sports journalist and broadcaster with Africa Independent Television (AIT) and RayPower FM, both operated by DAAR.

NAFED Secretary General Dapo Sotiminu said in an sms: "NAFED President, Dr. Felix OKUGBE, is gone. He died 10pm  yesterday night at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital."

Sotiminu did not disclose the cause of Okugbe's death.
