The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, October 6, 2015:

SOUTHERN STATES

Coastal Areas: cloudy conditions are expected over the south-western coast while the south-eastern coast with prospects of localised rain showers in the morning hours while prospects of rain showers are expected to prevail over the entire region in the afternoon/evening hours.

Inland Areas: Cloudy conditions are expected over the inland of the South-West while the inland of the South-East with prospects of localised thunderstorms in the morning hours while prospects of rain showers are expected to prevail over the entire region in the afternoon/evening hours.

Central States: Prospects of localised thunderstorms are expected to prevail over the high grounds of the central states during the forecast period.

Northern States: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over the areas in the morning hours while partly cloudy conditions are expected over the north-western corner with prospects of localised thunderstorms over the north-eastern corner in the afternoon/evening hours.
